President Muhammadu Buhari dismisses rumours that he forced voters to elect candidates: The president elect of Nigeria, Muhammadu buhari has dismissed rumours and insinuations that he was forcing voters to elect candidates other than those they preferred.

The statement which was published by the All progressive congress (APC) on their twitter handle, has it that the president made the statement recently during the party’s generally meeting.
The rumors followed the just concluded presidential elections which saw Buhari edge over Atiku of Peoples democratic party (PDP). The elections was a tight and no one would have been able to predict the winner during the elections.

Although buhari won but Atiku still believes the electoral process was manipulated, hence he seeks judicial justice just as Adeleke was granted victory by the judiciary in Ogun state.
Many Nigerians still hopes that the judiciary which the say is the hope of the common man, would investigate the said manipulated process and proclaim justice rightly.
According to the statement twitted by APC in the late hours of yesterday, the on sitting President said;
“I believe in the will of the people, and I cannot, therefore, put pressure on voters to elect leaders they don’t like”, Mr. President says.
