Over 40 Muslims have been butchered in Christchurch, New Zealand. Christchurch known for its Englich heritage is located on the east coast of New zealand’s south Island.

A gunman believed to be white supremacist live-streamed the rampage. So far two people have been taken into custody for the attack, and a man believed to be in his late 20shas been arrested and is due to appear in court
The Attack which occurred on Friday saw a total of 48 people wounded and over 40 dead.
Christchurch mayor Lianne Dalziel described the attack as an act of terrorism and expressed solidarity with victims;
“We have welcomed new people into our city. They are our friends, they are our neighbours.”
She also told reporters that the victims would be supported and endangered muslims would be protected.
Security in Christchurch city has since multiplied after the attack, and all mosques in Newzealand have been closed.
